Given the strategic importance of the Danish market for Piedmontese wines, this year the Barolo & Friends Event is doubling: after the success of the 2022 edition and given the growing importance of this city for Piedmontese producers, I Vini del Piemonte is also planning a promotional event in Aarhus, the second largest city in Denmark by population and the country’s main port.

The event, now in its third edition, will be ¹ held on May 12th.The program includes a main session reserved for sector professionals (importers, distributors, Ho.Re.Ca., sommeliers, journalists, etc.) and a final session open to selected wine lovers, confirming itself as an initiative of interest for both imported wineries and those looking for an importer.  

A connecting bus service between Copenhagen and Aarhus (duration 4h) will be available to participants and related costs will be indicated to those interested.

PROGRAM:

• Arrival of producers at the location and welcome
• 10.00 – 11.00 am: masterclass aimed at the trade
• 11.00 – 3.00 pm: walk around tasting reserved for professionals, members of the ho.re.ca sector, press and media
• 4.00 – 6.00 pm: walk around tasting reserved for selected wine lovers.

The event will be confirmed upon reaching the minimum number of participants and approval of the SRG10 projects.
