The promotion consortium I Vini del Piemonte has decided to add a stop in Eastern Europe to help Piedmontese excellences to enter new markets. The first edition of the Barolo & Friends Event in Prague took place on Monday 17 January 2022.

The initiative was reserved exclusively for trade operators (importers, distributors, sommeliers, Ho.Re.Ca and journalists) and was designed both for Piedmontese wine company looking for an importer and for those companies that, already imported, want to promote themselves in this emerging market.

PROGRAM

• 13.30: Master Class on Piedmontese wines hosted by Michal Šetka, editor-in-chief and founder of Wine &Degustation Magazin
• 14.30-17.30: walk around tasting reserved for the trade (wine importers and distributors, owners of qualified wine shops and specialized retailers, owners and/or wine advisor of qualified Italian and international restaurants, qualified sommeliers, specialized press)
