From 20 to 23 May, 2019, I Vini del Piemonte hosted seven journalists coming from different European countries: on schedule, visits in wine cellars, tastings and dinners with the wine producers of Langhe, Roero and Alto Piemonte.

The consortium of promotion I Vini del Piemonte organized a 4-day tour for a group of seven skilled European journalists, specializing in the food & wine sector, with the aim of promoting the Piedmontese excellences. The journalists, selected with the help of a specialized agency, came from Germany, Great Britain, France, Denmark and The Netherlands. These countries are extremely important for the Piedmontese wine market, in which the consortium has been active for years.

The event took place from 20 to 23 May 2019 and the tour program was original and diverse in order to give the guests the opportunity to live an authentic experience, exploring all the wealth of the different wine areas of Piedmont, under the expert guidance of Sandro Minella.

The first day was dedicated to the territories protected by UNESCO in the Langhe and Roero area. On schedule: visits and tastings in two wine producing companies members of I Vini del Piemonte and, in the evening, an institutional dinner with some of the producers of this areas, who personally presented their wines. In the following days the guests visited the area known as Alto Piemonte, Upper Piedmont, where they had the opportunity to take part in tastings, organized by the local consortium, and guided visits to some of the main wine tourist sites of Piedmont.

In order words, it was a real full immersion dedicated to taste and excellence!
