Germany is one of the countries with the highest wine consumption in the world and the second importer of Italian wine after the United States of America. In Belgium too wine has consistently entered the local consumptions. In order to deal with these two grown and extremely interesting markets, I Vini del Piemonte, Consorzio di Tutela Nebbioli Alto Piemonte and Strada del Vino Terre di Arezzo has sealed an agreement which brought producers from Piedmont and Tuscany together in a promotional tour, which stopped in Berlin and Bruxelles, named “Tuscany meets Piedmont, from Sangiovese to Nebbiolo”.

The first stop was scheduled in Berlin on Monday 6 May 2019, while the second has been in Brussels the following week, Monday 13 May 2019. Both the events had a session reserved for the sector professionals, which also included a Master class, as well as a session open to final consumers.
