Thanks to the partnership sealed with Gambero Rosso, I Vini del Piemonte took part, as a guest region, in the legs of London (February 8^th 2018, Royal Horticutural Halls) and Zurich (May 7^th 2018) of the “Tre Bicchieri® World Tour”, with a group of wine producing companies members of the consortium.

I Vini del Piemonte had a dedicated space, with single counters for each producer, within a Walk Around Tasting addressed to trade operators, journalists and consumers selected among the members of local wine clubs. Moreover, both in the London and the Zurich leg, there has been a Master Class dedicated to the wines of Piedmont and addressed to trading operators and journalists of the sector, which was hosted by experts of the “Wines of Italy” guide published by Gambero Rosso, together with representatives of the consortium of promotion I Vini del Piemonte.

The “Tre Bicchieri® World Tour” is an initiative established in 1988 – during the launch of the first guide “Vini d’Italia” published by Gambero Rosso – which consists in several events dedicated to the presentation of the best Italian wines in the world. In 2018 the tour, which in these 30 years has contributed in establishing the “Gambero Rosso” brand and in making the guide “Vini d’Italia” influential all around the world, will stop in many important destinations for the export of Italian wine, from United States to China, without forgetting to stop in Europe.
