On April 25th 2017 I Vini del Piemonte and Consorzio Barbera d’Asti e Vini del Monferrato will be in Amsterdam for an event addressed to the sector operators.
That of Monday, April 25th 2017 at the Hotel Casa 400 in Amsterdam, has been an appointment completely dedicated to the promotion of Barbera d’Asti: an event organized by I Vini del Piemonte in cooperation with Consorzio Barbera d’Asti e Vini del Monferrato with the aim of presenting one of the most popular and important designations of Piedmont to the Dutch sector operators.
The event entitled “My name is Barbera” involved 8-10 producers of Barbera d’Asti DOCG and included a Master Class with Fred Nijhuis, journalist and expert of Italian wines, dedicated to the three types of Barbera d’Asti (basic, Superiore and Nizza). The Master Class was open to some 50 Dutch trade operators. Later, the sector operators have found a tasting counter with other wines of the participating companies (in addition to those already presented during the Master Class), so that they had the opportunity to continue the tasting as well as interacting with the producers.
