On August 25th, fourteen producers of the Consortium presented their wines in the prestigious Swiss resort, during an evening completely dedicated to Piedmont.
The Weingala, an exceptional event organized by the agency Stefan Keller & Partners, is a wine eveningdedicated to a particular wine region in the world which takes place twice a year at the prestigious Hotel Waldhaus, in the pretty and unspoiled alpine village of Sils, 10km from St. Moritz, Switzerland. For the occasion, groups of carefully selected producers are invited and will present their wines to wine lovers and some sector professionals operating in the area.
Housed inside a fairytale castle, the Hotel Waldhaus in Sils is a luxury five-star hotel, considered the benchmark in the Engadine for those interested in wine and it is considered one of the most important locations for those who produce wine.
Over the last twelve years, the most important wineries in the world have taken part in the Weingala. At the last edition, August 25th, 2015, Piedmontese wines took the spotlight, with fourteen wineries of the Consortium I Vini del Piemonte presenting a selection of their best wines.
16.00 / 18.30 – Walking tasting: tables with the tasting of DOC and DOCG wines of the Piedmontese producers.
16.30 – Master Class hosted by Stefan Keller, writer and wine producer, reserved for a small amount of participants.
19.30 – Gala Dinner with a Piedmontese menu specially prepared by the chef of the Hotel, a great lover of our region’s cuisine. The dinner was paired with wines from producers taking part in the event, served at a tasting table.
