The World Wine Meetings America hosted the first American date for the consortium “i Vini del Piemonte”, which sent overseas a delegation of the best producers from the region. The event took place from 26th to 28th April 2014 at the “Embassy Suites Downtown” of the Lakefront Hotel in Chicago and was organized by the prestigious French agency Adhesion Group, which also promotes some extremely renowned international events such as Vinisud and Vinisud Asia.

The programme included a series of B2B meetings during which the Piedmontese producers had the opportunity to present their wines to 130 importers from USA, Canada and South America: depending on the overview of each business and the importer requests, every producer took part in as many as 25 meetings, each lasting 40 minutes, in a private room.

Thanks to the cooperation signed by i Vini del Piemonte with Adhesion, members of the consortium had the opportunity to take part in the event with a substantial reduction in the participation fee.
