Join I Vini del Piemonte in a dedicated event for Piedmontese wineries to meet highly-qualified buyers from Taiwan, Vietnam, Korea, and Singapore
The Consortium I Vini del Piemonte, on April 2nd and 3rd, 2025, promotes an activity entirely dedicated to the important Asian market through B2B Agendas on the territory in collaboration with B.Connected. The selected countries are: Taiwan, Singapore, Vietnam, and Korea.
For each company, a matching will be carried out and a program of personalized meetings will be organized, each winery can expect a significant number of appointments. Buyers will receive samples before the on-site meetings, together with all the material provided by the candidates.
The participating buyers will be carefully profiled and selected by B.Connected, the B2B meetings will, in fact, follow agendas scheduled according to the specific requests of the buyers, in order to ensure appointments of real interest for both parties.
The meetings will be held in a location to be defined with one-to-one modalities.
The event is fully in line with the strategies of the Piedmont Wine Promotion Consortium, which has always focused on exports and has been actively working for years to promote the internationalization process of wineries.
Why the Asian markets?
Taiwan: Taiwan proves to be an important destination also for Italian wines: Italy is in fact the third largest supplier of wine for this country, immediately after France and the United States, with an export value of 23.5 million euros in 2023 and a market share of 9.2%.
Vietnam: in Vietnam, alcohol consumption has increased by 95% from 2010 to 2020, the export of Italian wine has increased by 82% in the first months of 2022 and in 2023, so far, 229.20 million dollars have been invested for the export of wine. Italy is also the third largest importer in the country (9%) after Chile (25%) and France (35%).
Singapore: Singapore is the second most densely populated country in the world, the fourth financial center and the fifth commercial port on the planet as well as the fifth Asian market in value for imports of Italian wines. According to ICE data, Singapore represents an excellent and constantly developing opportunity for Italian wine. Italy is the fourth most imported country, occupying a share of 7%.
Korea: Italian wine occupies a special place among the preferences of enthusiasts, experts, and operators in the sector: Italy ranks second among the exporting countries to Korea, on a par with the USA behind France, with a value of 86 million dollars and a growth rate of 15% in one year.
For each winery a preliminary customized market research will be carried out, to identify the Asian operators interested and more in line with the characteristics of the company.
