The 2025 tour includes five stops in five different US cities, from the East Coast to the West Coast, passing through Colorado:

New York (March 3, 2025), Boston (March 5, 2025), Washington DC (March 6, 2025), Denver (March 10, 2025), and Los Angeles (March 12, 2025).

Each stop is exclusively for the trade sector (importers, distributors, journalists, opinion leaders, sommeliers, agents, wine shops, restaurateurs, etc.) and is therefore dedicated both to those seeking an importer and to companies already present on the US market but who need to promote themselves to wine shops, restaurants, and the press.

Together with the wineries selected by the prestigious Slow Wine guide, US wine operators will have the opportunity to meet a group of producers from the consortium I Vini del Piemonte, who will present a selection of Piedmontese wines, always highly appreciated in the States, where market research highlights a marked trend towards consumption of “high-quality” wines.

Thanks to the partnership, wineries associated with I Vini del Piemonte can participate in the tour even if they are not present in the Slow Wine guide.

The United States is the world’s leading market for wine consumption and is therefore a fundamental reference point for the export of wineries. Over the past ten years, wine consumption in the USA has increased by 28% in volume, reaching 32 million hectoliters, and Italy, with an overall market share of 32.4%, equal to over 2.5 million hectoliters, remains the main supplier of wine in this primary market: a sign that our country enjoys a very high reputation among American consumers (Source: Nomisma Wine Monitor).
