Piedmontese winery representatives will meet with Chinese importers
The consortium I Vini del Piemonte, on March 25th and 26th, 2025, is once again promoting an activity dedicated to the important Chinese market through online B2B meetings in collaboration with B.Connected.
For each company, a matching will be carried out and a personalized schedule of meetings will be organized over the course of a week, where each winery can expect a significant number of appointments. Buyers will receive samples before the virtual meetings, along with all the material provided by the candidates.
The meetings will be scheduled on a digital platform in a one-to-one format, and an organizer will always be present to provide support before, during, and after the digital meetings to ensure ease of use and operational efficiency.
Why China?
China’s role in the wine sector is changing, as there is a strong consumption driven by young wine lovers who, having lived in the West, are showing interest in wine.
Guangdong is the province with the highest GDP in the country and, with the cities of Shenzhen and Guangzhou, is the province that consumes the most bottled wine by value, about 30% of total imports.
However, it is important to develop a good communication strategy aimed at educating consumers about wine culture through storytelling.
For each company, a preliminary personalized market research will be carried out to identify the Chinese operators who are interested and most in line with the company’s characteristics.
