Three eno-gastronomic appointments for the HoReCa sector to promote the modernity and uniqueness of Piedmontese wines with Fred Nijhuis
Given the growing interest in Piedmont and its denominations in the Netherlands, coupled with a rising demand for sustainable, organic, and plant-based products in the hospitality industry, our Consortium has decided to take on a new challenge. With the aim of strengthening the positioning of our wines and Piedmontese companies in the Dutch market, we have conceived a completely new initiative targeting the Ho.Re.Ca. sector and contemporary cuisine restaurants.
This series of three meetings, organized and coordinated by our Ambassador Fred Nijhuis, includes three enogastronomic events between June and September in three leading contemporary cuisine restaurants. These events are reserved for a group of 15-20 Ho.Re.Ca. operators (chefs, sommeliers, restaurant managers) and will feature the pairing of 15 wines with 4-5 courses proposed by the guest chef.
Promoting the knowledge of our territories, educating the restaurant world about the use and pairing of Piedmontese wines, and the great pairing opportunities they offer, represents, in our opinion, the cornerstone for value growth and recognition of the high positioning of Piedmontese denominations.
Knowledge and experimentation as the driving force to stimulate the inclusion of new types of wines on the menu through shared tasting and dynamic comparison.
Each dish will be paired with 3 different labels, enhancing and exploring the contemporaneity of Piedmontese wines and their versatility.
The initiative is designed in particular for companies already present on the Dutch market but is open to all companies wishing to choose a new promotional format.
