Aiming at bringing the Piedmontese excellence to an increasingly important market for the Italian wines, I Vini del Piemonte, in collaboration with CIA Piemonte – Agricoltori Italiani and Piedmont Good Wines, organized a promotional event in Warsaw (Poland), aimed at local sector operators, including importers, restaurateurs, sommeliers, journalists etc.

Given the current health situation and the consequent impossibility for producers to move, the event has been held on Monday 1^st June 2020 in “virtual” mode and was divided into two phases:

• Remote B2B meetings: online meeting and tasting via videoconference lasting about 20 minutes, with at least 4/5 importers for each wine company.
• Walk around tasting in the absence of wine producers: a tasting table with wines and promotional materials was dedicated to each wine producer, so the importers had the opportunity to taste the wines of all the participants companies.

Some 15-20 wine producing companies coming from Langhe, Roero, Monferrato and Alto Piemonte, members of I Vini del Piemonte, CIA Piemonte and Piedmont Good Wines took part in the event.
