The event, in its second year, was a sort of “Salone del Gusto” in Zurich and was organized bySlow Food Switzerland in cooperation with the famous distribution chain Coop Switzerland: three days dedicated to the gourmet of this important country and to the wine enthusiasts who, according to the Slow Food philosophy, “had the possibility to live an adventure in the world of authenticity of good flavours”.
There were many appointments where Piedmontese wines were the unquestioned protagonists.
Friday, 9th – 5.30pm
Wine Tasting Experience™ (www.winetastingexperience.it) an overview on Piedmontese wines dedicated to winelovers and hosted by an expert;
Saturday, 10th – 4pm
A Laboratory of Taste with a presentation of the most renowned cheeses of the Swiss Presidia matched with 7 Piedmontese wines; – 7pm An official presentation on the role of “2012 Guest Region” of Piedmont and the attending producers, dedicated to press, importers and exhibitors;
Sunday, 11th- 4pm
A Laboratory of taste where 7 Piedmontese wines were served with products of some Italian and international Presidia attending the event and introduced by representatives of the countries themselves.
