Although Belgium is the home of beer, the wine is a product that has now firmly entered the local consumptions and Piedmont has great margins for growth. For this reason, I Vini del Piemonte organised a new tasting event in Flanders, in cooperation with Vlaamse Wijngilde, the historical Flemish Wine Association, which has more than 2,000 members.

The event was held on Sunday June 10^th 2018 at the restaurant Delozenboer, in the form of a Walk Around Tasting. The producers presented their wines to the selected wine lovers who are members of one of the most important wine clubs of the country. Around 300 people took part, including consumers, restaurateurs, sommeliers and journalists of the sector.
