On February 6th and 7th 2018, I Vini del Piemonte has been in Berlin and Hamburg for the second edition of the Barolo & Friends in Germany.
After the positive debut in Autumn 2016, I Vini del Piemonte came back to Germany with two stops of the Barolo & Friends Event in Berlin and Hamburg. Both these days have been organized in partnership with CIA – Confederazione Italiana degli Agricoltori, the Italian Farmers Confederation.
The tour will started on Tuesday, February 6th 2018 from Berlin: the German capital hosted the Barolo & Friends Event for the first time. This event included a session for the professionals and one dedicated to final consumers.
Wednesday, February 7th 2018, there was the second edition of the Barolo & Friends Event in Hamburg. The event, organized in cooperation with Michèle Shah srl, consisted in a session dedicated to the trade operators and also one open to the final consumers.
Germany is one of the biggest wine importer in the world and, for Italy, it is second only to that of the United States. Although it is not growing, the German market is extremely interesting for Piedmont.
